CHRONIC ENCAPSULATED INTRACEREBRAL HAEMATOMA: A CASE REPORT

Karadeniz Tecnical University Medical Faculty Department of Neurosurgery Trabzon Türkiye Encapsulated intracerebral haematoma (EICH) is an interesting and rare entity. In this paper: a chronic encapsulated intracerebral haematoma without vascular malformation is reported, Although the clinical course and radiological appearances suggested a brain tumour histopathological examination demonstrated a capsule and capillary proliferation at the periphery of the haemorrhage area.
